Arian Hashemy

Arian Hashemy is an Iranian santour performer, academic, and university lecturer based in Isfahan and Tehran. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music from the University of Art in Tehran, where he specialized in Persian classical music and performance. As a dedicated musician, Hashemy has developed a career that bridges performance and education. He is actively engaged in teaching at the university level, contributing to the training of the next generation of musicians while continuing his work as a santour performer. His artistic and academic activities reflect a strong commitment to preserving and promoting Iranian musical traditions, particularly through the santour, one of the central instruments of Persian classical music.
