Sina Alam

Sina Alam Sina Alam (born Azar 1368 [December 1989] in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian composer, arranger, and instrumentalist, specializing in kamancheh, violin, and gheychak. He is a core member of the Shoosh Ensemble, led by Hooman Khalatbari. He has also collaborated with Maestro Shahram Nazeri’s ensemble and the Zand Band. From 2014 to 2021, Sina Alam and the Zand Band (featuring vocalist Ali Zand Vakili) performed numerous concerts in Tehran and across major cities throughout Iran. He is the founder and a principal member of the Shoosh Ensemble under the direction of Hooman Khalatbari, which officially began its activities in 2021.
